About Alaska Eagle Arts
Alaska Eagle Arts, owned and operated by Brigette Ellis, began in Ketchikan Alaska (Brigette’s home town) in 1986. My intention with the art business was the exclusive representation of contemporary Native American artist, Marvin E. Oliver and his works of art. Marvin Oliver (1946-2019) was a multifaceted artist and professor who worked in a wide range of media. I began by selling his works in paper on a wholesale basis and then expanded to a retail gallery in Ketchikan in 1991. The Ketchikan Gallery continues today as the worldwide headquarters selling an expansive variety of unique and fine works of art by Marvin Oliver. We are located on historic Creek Street (#5) and next to Soho Coho Gallery in the heart of the red light district!

Stunning artwork at a wide range of prices. Our visit to Eagle Arts allowed us to purchase reasonably priced artwork that perfectly encapsulates the feeling of Ketchikan. I can’t recommend this place highly enough!
I was recently gifted with two of your blankets and they are so beautiful! I had the joy of meeting your two boys as well, what good people! Would love to meet you one day!

Of Marvin Oliver, she said “he honored his gift as an artist by sharing it.” It’s a gift that will continue to inspire and inform artists for generations.
